I moved to Arlington in October 2020, having lived in the Cotswolds since 2004, and was elected to the Parish Council in May 2021. I am retired, having been Chief Executive of a company providing a renewable energy technology. I am married to Heather who is from Williamsburg, Virginia and we share our house, Long Cottage, with 3 cats and 3 dogs.

I moved to Bibury in 2001, along with my wife and son, having lived in the Cotswolds since 1984. My work experience included technical consultant roles for Thorn EMI in London, Intel in Swindon, and QA Training in Cecily Hill Barracks near Cirencester Park – a successful company I joined when it started up. I continue to enjoy Information Technology (IT) and also have particular interests in astronomy, conservation and environmental concerns.

As a retiree, I'm in a position to devote time to supporting local activities and groups, and to contribute to the village and surrounding countryside. I've thrown myself into Bibury life over the years, including helping with the annual Bibury open gardens, the Bibury literary festival (Biblit) and have recently joined the Bibury Village Hall Committee.

I look forward to continuing these activities and more in serving the community as I am now part of the Bibury Parish Council, while avidly joining local advocacy in preserving Bibury's picturesque charm and reputation as "the most beautiful village in England".
